Garden State Code Compliance provides independent fire protection subcode inspection services within authorized scope. Our licensed inspectors document fire suppression and alarm system installations at each required stage, supporting permit compliance and project closeout.


Fire Protection Inspection Types

Our fire protection subcode inspection services include documentation at the following stages, as applicable to the scope of the fire protection permit:

  • Underground fire service inspections โ€” Documentation of below-grade fire service mains and connections prior to backfill
  • Rough sprinkler inspections โ€” Documentation of sprinkler piping, hangers, and head layout prior to concealment
  • Hydrostatic and flow test inspections โ€” Documentation of system pressure testing and flow verification
  • Fire alarm system inspections โ€” Documentation of detection, notification, and monitoring device installations
  • Final fire protection inspections โ€” Documentation of completed fire protection installations for certificate of occupancy support

Project Types

Fire protection subcode inspections are available for residential and commercial projects, including new construction, additions, alterations, and system upgrades. All inspections are performed by NJ-licensed fire protection inspectors and documented per UCC requirements.
