Building Subcode Inspection Services
Garden State Code Compliance provides independent building subcode inspection services within the scope outlined under the NJ Uniform Construction Code. Our licensed inspectors document building construction at each required stage, supporting permit compliance and project closeout.
Building Inspection Phases
Our building subcode inspection services include documentation at the following stages, as applicable to the scope of the building permit:
- Footing inspections โ Documentation of footing excavation, reinforcement, and formwork prior to concrete placement
- Foundation inspections โ Documentation of foundation walls, waterproofing, and drainage installations
- Framing inspections โ Documentation of structural framing, sheathing, and fastening per the building subcode
- Insulation and energy inspections โ Documentation of thermal envelope, insulation, and air barrier installations
- Final building inspections โ Documentation of completed building construction for certificate of occupancy support
How It Works
Each inspection is documented with a formal inspection report submitted to the applicable enforcing agency for inclusion in the permit file. Our process is designed to coordinate with municipal workflows and support clean project closeouts.
