How the Inspection Process Works
Working with Garden State Code Compliance is a straightforward, procedural process. Here is what to expect at each stage.
Step 1: Submit a Request
Contact our office by phone at (908) 506-3305 or email at [email protected]. Provide your project details, location, municipality, and the type of inspection needed.
Step 2: Schedule the Inspection
We coordinate directly with your project timeline. Our scheduling is designed to reduce wait times and align with your construction milestones.
Step 3: On-Site Inspection
A licensed NJ inspector arrives at your job site and performs the inspection within authorized scope per the applicable UCC subcode. Conditions observed are documented thoroughly.
Step 4: Documentation & Reporting
Inspection findings are documented and provided for permit files and project closeout. If corrections are identified, clear documentation is provided so you can address items and schedule a follow-up inspection.
Who Can Request an Inspection?
Municipalities participating in the on-site inspection program can engage our services within authorized scope. Contractors and developers working in these municipalities can coordinate inspections directly through our office.
